UPDATE OCTOBER 13th 2009!!

On October 13th 2009, at 17:00 GMT, ViaSat will begin releasing new map files. The new map files will be automatically downloaded via satellite to your SAILOR mini-VSAT 700 system and stored. They files will then be deployed the next time power is cycled (turn off and back on) on your SAILOR mini-VSAT 700 system. The download and installation of new map files will not affect your service.

The new map files are being downloaded to further improve your service. New satellite capacity will be available for use in regions where overlapping satellite coverage now exists. Furthermore, files that facilitate satellite acquisition time are being updated for improved speed.

Please leave your SAILOR mini-VSAT 700 system on for 24 hours starting on the date and time above to receive the new map file download. You can then power cycle your SAILOR mini-VSAT 700 system any time after 17:00 GMT on October 14th.

If you miss the initial map file download there will be other opportunities to receive it the next time you turn your system on.

If you have any questions or concerns prior to the scheduled map files upload, please contact Thrane & Thrane A/S.
